We have lost another Great Person, I know for a Fact Danny will Thive in the After Life. I can see Him now talking with My Brother in a place We cannot see with our Eye's. Noone would feel bad if they knew how Great this Place is. I wish Everyone could See, or know of this Place called Heaven. But once You see and feel this, all You want is to stay there. Me and Danny would talk allot about this. I can't help but to wish I could Talk with Him one last Time. I could write a Story about Danny and his Wisdom. May God ease His Familys pain. Danny is in a Place were there are no Wants, Needs or Pain. Untill We Meet again.. I want Everyone to Know how GREAT Danny was Here on Earth. I know He's doing Awesome where He is, Its just so Tuff on Us that are still here. I can almost picture Danny with Mother Mary Now, and someday I will see this Vision in front of Me... Greg M. My Beautiful Cousin; Oh the world just got a whole lot dimmer without you in it! Your smile and laughter is what I will always remember and all those curls how jealous I was you got them and I didn't. The last time we spoke you were pumping gas and looked up as I stood there in amazment I was in Michigan you drop the hose a gave me the biggest hug I can still feel it today, Oh how I treasure the summers on the farm and teasing you about pulling you from your crib, No-one person could have a better cousin and cousins even though our lifes have gone in different ways. I know we will all meet once again may god shine upon you and children to bury your parent is never easy espically so soon. I LOVE YOU DANNY!!!

Dear all,
I had to write again.....
I was awestruck yesterday by Danny's paintings. It most certainly was a Divine hand that guided him to create such beautiful pictures. It is a blessing for you to have something so special left behind to treasure.
Seeing all of you after so many years brought back memories of the wonderful friendship our families shared. Grandma Dorsey's annual ravioli dinners.... the trips to the cabin.... playing in the haylofts.....I could go on and on. We had some fun, eh? While Danny may be physically gone, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved him so dearly. He will never be forgotten. God Bless him for his courage and the life he led and all of you for your strength to carry on until you meet again.
Much Love,
Dawn(Streng)Barhydt

Tom, Sandy, Delores, Tommy, Mark, and Linda
I'm sorry I am out of the country and could not attend the visitation or the Mass for Danny. I used to see Danny at least once a week getting coffee at Holiday Mobile. I got to know him better than when we were all kids growing up. I was optimistic when I first learned of his cancer, because of his optimism. I guess we all know what cancer can do. I haven't seen some of you in a very long time, and like my own family, we see each other at funeral homes way too often these days. Please now I am thinking about Danny and all of you during this tough times.
Love to you all

Dan,
You indeed added rich color to our lives through your work, spirit and stories. We will miss thinking about your journeys for arrowheads, meteors and art. We will miss your comfortable and happy camaraderie, always having a smile available even if life has thrown an obstacle in your path. I know your spirit will continue to journey and now be able to find all that you were seeking. Thanks for making a positive lasting impression in our lives.

I first met Danny back in 93 when I was working W/ John Brothers painting. Danny used to work with us once in a while, he was so fun to work with. He used to sneak up on me and put lit cigarettes in the pockets of my painters pants! The thing I liked most about Danny was that he was always smiling and laughing and always seemed to be having a good time. I have nothing but respect for the man and he will surely be missed! My prayers and sympathies go out to all his family and friends!

Dearest Tom, Sandy and Children:
Although I didn't know Dan very well, I got to know him quite a bit when he came to my home to paint it a few years back. Dan was at my house every day for a month. We had some conversations about our children, his siblings (as I attended school with Linda and Mark)and life in general. He was a man of few words; however, one of the nicest, sweetest and easy going men I had ever met. Dan was an excellent craftsman in his profession and we were very happy he did our job. He will be missed by my husband and I. Our deepest condolences to all of you. God bless you Dan!

In life I think we all wish to be remembered and Danny will be remembered two fold, for his smile and for his heart. He had a gift of making you feel good about yourself, when you walked away after talking to Danny you would just have to smile because he was so energetic and animated that he was a joy to converse with, we will miss him and his individuality, but one thing is for certain, HE WILL BE REMEMBERED!!

Dear All,
I am so sorry for your loss and not being able to be there today. Although I haven't seen Danny in many years I'll always remember that sweet smile and, of course, his imitation of Tom Jones when he was very young. It still brings a smile to my heart. I know all too well what you're all feeling. Wishing you all God's Blessing and strength during this difficult period.
Much Love,

We were so saddened to read of Danny's passing. He was a fun child in the neighborhood which consisted of farms and kids!!! We first met him when he rode up on a white horse to meet all of us and our neighbors...well... it probably was to check out the new girls...our three and the one next door. He certainly made an impression then as well as throughout his short life. I was fortunate to see his happiness at the birth of his daughter, and his grandson!!! He always had a friendly smile for everyone. We are out of town right now, but we will call you when we get back. Hugs!!! Phyllis Watkins

How sad I was to learn of Danny's passing. May God be with you all in your time of grief. Oh, what good times Danny and I used to have as kids on the farm. I have been gone from Howell many many years but still remember the Dorsey Farm as a great place to be. My love and prayers are with you all.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our family has known Danny for many years. He was a good person. I am glad he is in a very special place now though, where there is no pain. All I can think of is how happy is now. The pain that he leaves behind is so very hard. Stick together and
help each other. And worry no more. HE IS WITH GOD. He was probably greeted by his loving Father
Thomas. They are togethter now. I am sure he is
happy to see his Father Thomas. I am sorry this will be so painful for the rest of the family. But, try to think about how happy he is now. I reach out especially to Destiny and her brother
Tyler. If there is anything I can do please let me know. I have known you to long to forget you.
Love you both Therese Benedetti

Starry
starry night
paint your palette blue and grey
look out on a summer's day
with eyes that know the
darkness in my soul.
Shadows on the hills
sketch the trees and the daffodils
catch the breeze and the winter chills
in colors on the snowy linen land.
And now I understand what you tried to say to me
how you suffered for your sanity
how you tried to set them free.
They would not listen
they did not know how
perhaps they'll listen now.
Starry
starry night
flaming flo'rs that brightly blaze
swirling clouds in violet haze reflect in
Vincent's eyes of China blue.
Colors changing hue
morning fields of amber grain
weathered faces lined in pain
are soothed beneath the artist's
loving hand.
And now I understand what you tried to say to me
how you suffered for your sanity
how you tried to set them free.
perhaps they'll listen now.
For they could not love you
but still your love was true
and when no hope was left in sight on that starry
starry night.
You took your life
as lovers often do;
But I could have told you
Vincent
this world was never
meant for one
as beautiful as you.
Starry
starry night
portraits hung in empty halls
frameless heads on nameless walls
with eyes
that watch the world and can't forget.
Like the stranger that you've met
the ragged men in ragged clothes
the silver thorn of bloddy rose
lie crushed and broken
on the virgin snow.
And now I think I know what you tried to say to me
how you suffered for your sanity
how you tried to set them free.
They would not listen
they're not
list'ning still
perhaps they never will.
